Financial Advisors:

Robert H. Hodge CPA/PFS

Robert Hodge has been a practicing Certified Public Accountant since 1974. In 1975 he became a partner in the accounting firm of Farrell, Sullivan, and Hodge. He was one of the first 150 CPA’s in the country to earn the designation of Personal Finance Specialist (PFS). In 1987, Bob began his own practice, devoted exclusively to tax and personal financial planning.

In 1990, he co-founded an investment advisory service primarily utilizing mutual funds as the basis for investment. In 1997, Bob formed Hodge Financial Services, LLC., an asset allocation service that automatically shifts the allocation between US stock funds, International stock funds and bond or money market funds. The asset allocation service uses fundamental and technical analysis to reduce risk by weighting the portfolio in those areas of the market where there are opportunities with limited downside risk. The asset allocation is designed for conservative investors. Over the last 4 years, HFS’s service has significantly outperformed all of the major stock market indices.

Since its founding, HFS has published a monthly letter to its clients, intended to give clients an update of what Bob’s current position was on the various markets. In June 2001, Bob launched the “Voice of Financial Reason” newsletter to provide his clients with information regarding the economy and its effects on the investment environment. The monthly newsletter has been enthusiastically received by clients and has become a vital part of the Company’s service.
